Nous Sommes les Gens! Libération sur l’Internet! Hundreds of people gathered on Saturday, January 28, to protest the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), a US bill to allow law enforcement to stop online trafficking of copyrighted property. Many French citizens, mostly younger, showed their condemnation of the bill and took to the streets to tell the US as well as the French government that “we are the people and we want freedom of the internet!”.
